I am a retired person who moved to this area in 2017. I walk in Lake Hallie/Chippewa Falls every day, and enjoy taking photos of often overlooked, commonplace scenes, colors, shapes, patterns, textures -- scratches on the sides of large trash containers, tracks of humans, other creatures and machines in mud and snow, pavement repair, weeds, found objects etc. I often take extreme closeups, transforming natural forms to abstraction.
